Performance

My first public performance was in 1990 when I tap danced to "Going on a Picnic Sunday" in the Beller Dance and Gymnastics recital. My dance career continued from there to include weekly performances with my high school and studio competitive teams.

College brought an entirely new experience as a Directing major in the theatre department. 60 theatre majors produced 8 main stage shows and numerous student productions each year. I was able to work in the scenic studio, design, direct, act, dance, choreograph, and construct costumes in my 4 years at Drake University. It was awesome!

From there I moved to Berkeley for grad school and began improvisational performances with Wing It! Ensemble, as well as sacred dance with Omega West Dance Company.

Today, I work with InterPlayKC to produce an Improvisational classes and workshops. Exciting things are happening!
